As Care Train of Union County prepares
to celebrate our 20th anniversary, we have reminisced
about our beginning.
What began as Christmas Clearinghouse,
was later renamed Community Care Train. In 2000 ,
we incorporated as Care Train of Union County. To
this day, we still receive checks made out to "Community
Care Train."
We are proud that over the years,
our work has been remembered and our community continues
to recognize our cause as a good one.
What has most touched us is that
over the past few years, families have remembered
Care Train upon the death of a loved one. They request
that donations be made to Care Train, in lieu of
flowers.
We are greatful for the kindness
and trust shown to us during their mourning.
