The Care Train of Union County
is a completely local, volunteer
organization. This means that all the money raised
directly benefits the less
fortunate in our county. A 501(c)3 status is maintained
so that all contributions
are tax deductible.

Buy at the Auction. Tell your neighbors and friends.
Q- How many families does Care Train help?
A- In 2010 the Care Train touched the lives of 2,785 individuals including: 1,203 children, 544 families, 313 seniors and 129 disabled adults.
Q- How much did you raise last year and how?
A- Last year's event raised over $150,000 through
auction and donations.
Q- Is my auction purchase tax deductible?
A- Auction items include a receipt showing your
amount paid and the value of the item. If you
take itemized deductions on your tax return,
you may deduct the difference between these values
as a charitable donation. Consult a tax advisor
for more information. |
